The Office of the Public Advocate, and the University of South Australia, worked with people in the sector to prepare a comprehensive review of rights based adult protection strategies, based on overseas evidence.
Although funded to look at elder abuse prevention and response, the same principles can be applied to the practice of adult protection across the age range.
A draft government wide safeguarding policy was written for consideration.
