The Public Advocate performs a range of general functions under the Guardianship and Administration Act 1993.
In undertaking systemic advocacy to protect and promote the rights and safety of South Australians with impaired decision making capacity, the Public Advocate writes reports and issues papers.
The Disability Advocate also writes regular reports and discussion papers.
